I explore the plein air landscape in an abstract manner as a way of becoming more closely acquainted with the natural environment. In this series, I do not copy what is in front of me, but instead, work loosely, quickly and expressively to go well beyond a description. I want to experience the landscape I am in and covey this experience to the viewer .
