around the city and depicting them in my work. \u00a0During the tourist season I saw many cruise ship passengers exploring the area where I wait for transit to my studio and got interested in the \u201ctourist\u201d and what they represent. \u00a0I became intrigued by the \u201c love\/hate\u201d relationship we have with tourists. \u00a0The dichotomy between the economic necessity for them and the displeasure of their invasion into our space. \u00a0This series depicts tourists staring at us as we observe them in equal discomfort. \u00a0Do we love them or hate
