I look to the internet, popular periodicals and magazines to lift and collect images that I work with. In my current series I am using the images gathered from 3D animated sources which I have displaced from their film intention and torn apart and put back together and collaged into a 2D painting. \u00a0<span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #141412; cursor: text; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro',Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\"> I\u00a0 enjoy the idea of taking something born out of a highly technical and electronic foundation and stripping the creative process to the bare essentials of cutting and pasting and paint application.<\/span> I am also recycling old torn up works from the bin of &#8220;unsuccessfuls&#8221; and exploring strange juxtapositions with these creating new characters, meanings and scenarios, within an unintended environment.
