You are invited to a truly unique reception at Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks featuring one of its newest cookbooks, The Tastes of Sonora Resort. Chef Matthew Stowe, the author of Sonora's new cookbook will be serving exquisite hors d'oeuvres prepared in his signature refined style. On Wednesday, December 9th from 5:00pm until 6:30pm, you will be treated to a cooking demonstration by the Chef, and will take home one of his favorite ingredients. You will also have the chance to win a three course dinner for six at Barbara Joe's prepared by Chef Stowe (Value: $750). Signed copies of his book will be available for purchase. Tickets for this event are $45.00.

About Chef Matthew Stowe

Chef Stowe trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, and also worked at the famed restaurant Lutece, in New York. While focusing on fresh, local ingredients Stowe puts a west coast twist on traditional French cuisine. Guests who have sampled Chef Stowe's cuisine over the past six years have repeatedly asked for his recipes and techniques, and now you can have this collection of over 100 recipes to remind you of your time at Sonora.
